The Elite Custom Race Plus Bottle Cage in White is a refined and enhanced version of one of the most iconic product designs in professional cycling, the Custom Race.
With a focus on improvement and attention to detail, the Custom Race Plus takes an already dominant design to new heights.
Features:
- 1.
Unmatched Domination in the World Tour Peloton:Over the past decade, the Elite Custom Race has achieved near ubiquity in the world tour peloton.
It became a staple, with over 50% of riders in the Tour de France using this cage—a level of domination rarely matched by any manufacturer in modern times.2.
Collaboration with Trusted Athletes:In the pursuit of continuous improvement, Elite collaborated with some of their most trusted athletes throughout 2014 and 2015.
These athletes provided detailed feedback, helping identify areas where the Custom Race could be enhanced to meet the demands of professional cycling.3.
Precision Tuning:The result of this collaboration is the Custom Race Plus.
This iteration maintains the essence of the Custom Race but is fine-tuned with a precise eye for detail.
Every aspect has been carefully considered to elevate performance.4.
Elimination of 'Bottle Creep':One of the notable improvements is the elimination of 'bottle creep' that could affect the old design in gritty conditions.
By increasing the size and adjusting the alignment of the tension rubber, Elite has ensured a secure hold for your bottle even in challenging environments.5.
Enhanced Flexibility in Bottle Insertion:Reshaping the sides of the cage has resulted in greater flexibility during bottle insertion.
This not only streamlines the process but also reduces the chances of binding when removing the bottle, providing a seamless and efficient experience on the road.6.
Lightweight Design:Weighing in at a mere 38 grams, the Custom Race Plus maintains a lightweight profile.
This ensures that the cage adds minimal weight to your setup, ideal for cyclists who prioritize efficiency and speed.7.
Italian Craftsmanship:Crafted with pride in Italy, the Custom Race Plus Bottle Cage reflects the heritage of quality craftsmanship.
The attention to detail and precision in manufacturing make it a symbol of excellence in the cycling accessory market.
- Upgrade your cycling experience with the Elite Custom Race Plus Bottle Cage—a testament to innovation, collaboration, and the pursuit of perfection in professional cycling.
