The 2025 Merida Reacto 9000 is a top-tier aero road bike built for racing, speed, and performance.
Featuring the latest in componentry and technology, it is designed to deliver unadulterated aero road speed, excellent acceleration, and supreme power transfer, all while maintaining impressive rider comfort.
Whether you are competing in criterium races, sprints, or enduring long-distance rides, the Reacto 9000 is a race-proven, versatile bike that will elevate your riding experience.
Key Features of the 2025 Merida Reacto 9000:CF5 Carbon Aero Frame:The super-light CF5 carbon frame (weighing approximately 950g in size M) is one of the lightest in the aero category, designed for speed and efficiency.
It combines state-of-the-art aerodynamics with rider comfort, making it ideal for both racing and longer rides.
The frame is meticulously designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing, achieving a drag reduction that requires only 209 watts to maintain a speed of 45 km/h, 1 watt faster than its predecessor.
Disc Cooler technology reduces heat generated by braking, integrated seamlessly into the aero design for optimal performance and airflow.
Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed Groupset:Equipped with the latest Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting system, the Reacto 9000 offers precise, quick, and reliable gear changes, allowing you to respond instantly during races or challenging rides.
Paired with Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes, it provides consistent and powerful braking in all conditions.
Vision Metron 5D ACR EVO Cockpit:The Vision Metron 5D ACR EVO one-piece cockpit integrates the stem and handlebar for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
Its sleek design also allows for perfect cable routing, ensuring a clean, aerodynamic profile.
This cockpit setup provides stiffness and responsiveness, making the bike feel agile and quick.
Reynolds BL60 Expert Carbon Wheelset:The Reynolds BL60 Expert carbon wheelset, combined with Continental Grand Prix 5000S TR 28mm tyres, ensures excellent aerodynamics, low rolling resistance, and grip on both smooth roads and rougher surfaces.
These tubeless-ready wheels further enhance the bike's speed and responsiveness, contributing to its race-winning pedigree.
Rider Comfort & Versatility: Despite its race-focused design, the Reacto 9000 also excels in rider comfort, thanks to the MERIDA S-FLEX carbon aero seat post and the ability to fit wider tyres (up to 28mm).
This makes the bike a great choice for not just racing, but also for long-distance rides and club outings.
The frame's compliance absorbs road vibrations, ensuring you stay comfortable on even the most challenging terrains, such as cobblestone or pothole-littered roads.
Refined Aerodynamics:Aerodynamic innovations include integrating the front disc cooler behind the fork, optimizing drag reduction without compromising on the frame's stiffness and handling.
The rear disc caliper is seamlessly incorporated into the rear triangle, while the thread-integrated thru-axles in the fork dropout further reduce drag, offering a smoother and more efficient ride.
Impressive Track Record & Industry Acclaim:The Reacto 9000 has earned numerous accolades and awards from the cycling press:Cycling Weekly described it as "without doubt one of the most complete bikes available on the market."Cyclingnews hailed it as "an utterly brilliant and faultless machine."Cycling Plus was "hugely impressed" by its performance, calling it one of the best aero bikes available.
This string of test wins and perfect scores highlights the successful evolution of Merida’s race-proven DNA, combined with the latest trends and technological advancements.
Perfect for competitive racers, criterium sprinters, and ambitious road cyclists, it offers unmatched speed, comfort, and handling.
With accolades from the cycling press, it's recognized as one of the best aero bikes available, capable of handling anything from fast-paced races to long-distance rides on challenging terrains.
