2026 Merida Silex 8000 – Adventure Without Limits
The 2026 Merida Silex 8000 is built for those who see roads as just the start of the journey. With its CF2 carbon gravel frame and MTB-inspired geometry, this is a bike that thrives on the road less travelled – stable, confident, and agile whether you’re tackling forest tracks, gravel fire roads, or fully loaded bikepacking adventures.
Equipped with the all-new SRAM Apex AXS wireless 1x12 drivetrain, the Silex 8000 delivers crisp, cable-free shifting and an enormous 10–52T gear range, perfect for climbing steep gravel climbs and hammering fast descents. Stopping power comes from SRAM Apex hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors and Merida’s Disc Cooler technology, giving you fade-free braking even on long, loaded descents.
The bike rolls on a proven DT Swiss G 1800 Spline wheelset, paired with Maxxis Rambler 45c tyres – wide, grippy, and tubeless-ready for mixed-terrain confidence. Add in an Easton EC90 AX carbon handlebar, Prologo Scratch M5 AGX saddle, and carbon seatpost, and the Silex 8000 has comfort and performance dialled in from the start.
With multiple mounting points for bags, cages, racks, and even dynamo systems, the Silex 8000 is adventure-ready out of the box. Whether it’s an overnighter, gravel race, or an epic bikepacking tour, this bike is your ticket to freedom.
