🌍 2025 Merida Silex 8000 – Green / Gold / Black
RRP: £4800
🚴♂️ Adventure refined – the next generation of gravel performance.
The 2025 Merida Silex 8000 is a masterclass in modern gravel design — a lightweight, carbon-framed bike built for adventure, exploration, and performance in equal measure. Combining MTB-inspired geometry with the precision of Shimano GRX825 Di2 electronic shifting, it’s designed for riders who love to explore the road less travelled, but demand the speed and responsiveness of a performance machine.
The second-generation Silex builds on Merida’s award-winning formula, now featuring a slacker 1.5° head angle, improved tyre clearance, and a more balanced visual design with a shorter headtube and revised fork — allowing riders to fit a suspension fork without changing the geometry.
The Easton EC70 AX carbon wheelset, Shimano GRX820 hydraulic brakes, and Maxxis Rambler 700×45C tyres make this the ultimate all-terrain companion — fast on tarmac, confident on gravel, and unstoppable on adventure.
